Hello, I’m Gilebert

I am Gilebert le braceeur de Dijon. I am a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism; a non-profit educational organization which seeks to recreate the Middle Ages and Renaissance.  I live in Grand Rapids, MI, which is the Barony of Andelcrag in the region of Pentamere, Middle Kingdom, in the SCA.

I am learning the processes needed to make pottery from the literal ground up. I dig the dirt, process that into clay, and then make and fire pottery from that clay. My focus is on learning and using ancient/medieval methods in this journey.
