A collection of small yunomi cups for Seto and Ynes
A yunomi (湯のみ) is a tall form of a Japanese teacup, typically made from a ceramic material and having no handle. cite

Yunomi is a type grouping of cups used in Japanese culture. These cups are taller than the are wide, and have a defined foot. For these cups, I used a speckled clay and applied a sprig to represent a cherry blossom.
These cups were intentionally thrown smaller than what is considered a normal yunomi. Most yunomi are 90ml to 120ml in volume.
These cups were thrown “off the hump”. This is a method where you place a large amount of clay on the wheel and throw pots on a smaller centered amount of clay without having to center the whole mass of clay.
